PYGMALION, a new comic strip by Lance Hansen begins today. Inspired by the Greek myth of Pygmalion, the strip follows a long suffering, temperamental artist as he struggles to create while dealing with the relationship ups and downs he has with his muse (i.e. his model du jour).

Lance is a Xeric Grant winning cartoonist who has appeared recently in such diverse publications as SECRET PRISON and MAD magazine. He’s also is a book publisher with his KettleDrummer Books imprint, that publishes both American and Spanish cartoonists.

PYGMALION is Lance’s latest graphic novel project. It is comprised of several short stories that concludes with one long story. We’ll be excerpting three of the short stories from PYGMALION over the summer. A new Lance Hansen strip will begin in the fall.
